We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Computer Tech III.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

The NOC Help Desk Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties including monitoring the Data Centers physical environment, network traffic monitoring, system performance monitoring, verifying vendor file deliveries, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems. This position is located in Washington, DC (Union Station), convenient to many commuting options.

Requirements:
High School Diploma + 8-10 years experience; or a Bachelors Degree in IT Systems Management or related field + 0-2 years experience


Experience with the following network monitoring tools: Spectrum, NetIQ Application Manager, and eHealth. Experience with other network monitoring tools would also be considered.
Understanding TCP/IP network environment
Experience using a Trouble Ticketing system
Ability to troubleshoot user remote access issues such as Citrix, BlackBerry, RSA tokens, etc.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent process skills.
