3. General Labor Job Description: Aerotek's client is a Food Production firm in Sterling, VA. They are hiring for production work. Responsibilities will include placing food on the line, cutting, wrapping, pushing large containers of food, mixing, placing condiments on food, bagging the food, packing the food, and sanitation.
Tasks are monotonous and phyiscally straining.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for an 8 hour shift, and work in a 45 degree facility. Work Environment: The Production Facility is very clean. There is a break room that has fridges and microwaves for candidates to use.
Before entering the Production Facility candidates must tie up all hair, and wear a hair net. They must also wear boots and a gown. Candidates will walk through a cleaning machine that will rinse and scrub boots before entering the facility.
This is a physically demanding job: candidates will be standing for their 8 hour shift and will be lifting materials continuously. Qualifications: 1. Ability to lift up 50 lbs
2. Ability to stand for 8 hours
