 A successful Assistant Brand Manager will have the following:

  • Proven experience in working directly with senior leadership teams with excellent attention to detail, creativity, motivation and communication skills.
  • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and in-depth experience with online analytics tools such as Omniture, Web Trends, Google Analytics; familiarity with information technology development practices, coding and web design preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related field and a minimum of 1-3 years experience in digital marketing.

The Assistant Brand Manager within Digital Marketing will do, among other things, the following:

  • Lead innovation and development of digital marketing and eCommerce programs on our website and online shopping cart to deliver sales and build the DISH brand, focusing on customer acquisition and sales through online, call center and chat channels.
  • Maintain relationship with call centers and sales leads as operational lead for digital sale sources.
  • Manage on site tagging and tracking implementation for media partners placements. Ensure seamless integration with IT and Media for campaign tracking.
  • Coordinate with sales on forecasting and planning for concepted changes to maximize sales.
  • Bring strategic thinking to design rules to optimally target site visitors with proactive chat invitations, lead them down the digital funnel and convert across any inbound channel. Collaborate with other digital channels where necessary.
  • Determine best-in-class sales practices across the industry and beyond, and implement features that embrace consumer shopping and buying behaviors, driving consumer preference of DISH as their entertainment provider.
  • Partner across the larger DISH organization to drive priority for on-site sales integrated program implementations and to ensure projects are executed holistically.
  • Work closely with advertising agencies and internal stakeholders to design and launch creative / user experience improvements.
  • Take ownership of a sales goal, monitor key performance metrics, publish reports to stakeholders and take corrective actions where necessary to ensure goals are met.
  • Effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate on-site integration with tools, 3rd party partners, and digital media creative elements.
