Warehouse I Recycling - Full-time

Essential Function:
The Recycling Associate will be responsible for the recycling processes of Styrofoam, cardboard, and old appliances. The associate is responsible for ensuring key processing tasks are completed and the recycling areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of essential duties, other duties may be assigned.
•Ensure all recycling areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
•Clean Styrofoam by removing tape, plastic, paper, and cardboard
•Maintain the Styrofoam processing machine
oEnsure the belt is free of any debris
oLubricate machine as directed by machine manual
oPerform minor repairs as directed by machine manual
•Ensure Styrofoam is processed efficiently with no product quality defects or load rejections
•Bag the processed Styrofoam in amounts equal to or exceeding 1,100 pounds.
•Load processed and bagged Styrofoam onto assigned trailers for shipment
•Unload transfer trucks returning from stores, cross-docks, and LDC's which contain recyclables
•Process, bale, and load cardboard onto assigned trailers for shipment
•Ensure all recycled appliances are organized properly on the designated trailer to maximize space and prevent damage to the units
•Utilize a fork or clamp truck to move recycling products as needed
•Maintain accurate records of processed Styrofoam and cardboard bales

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
