Job Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Drives, loads and unloads fertilizer tender truck and other equipment. Makes minor repairs and adjustments and keeps equipment in good operating order.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Drives tender truck or hauls fertilizer to and from the field.
2. Assist with propane delivery and service.
3. Performs preventive maintenance and makes minor adjustments and/or repairs to truck.
4. Prepares proper truck reports and records, including truck maintenance records.
5. Adheres on SS No Tolerance Policy on Safety and Environment.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Class B CDL license required, Class A CDL encouraged.
- May require forklift certification or will certify.
- Should be efficient in making minor truck repairs.
- Propane knowledge helpful but not required.
- Hazmat certification may be required at a later date.
