The Project Manager is responsible for the successful project design, management of the project, compliance with network requirements, network assessment and selection, and program/product implementation. This includes enterprise-wide Migration Integrated Network teams that focus on specific lines of business or states to improve the quality and timeliness through improvements in appropriateness and effectiveness. Project Managers may perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation; obtain data, verify validity of data, and analyze data as required, and analyze network availability and access. Other responsibilities may also include making recommendations regarding use, expansion, selection of networks for various products based on that analysis, while maintaining the timelines and ensuring the success of the project.


 


Primary Responsibilities:





  • Represent the Migrations department on the project



  • Lead the project and have knowledge of the resources and dependencies as well as time lines



  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them



  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues



  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions



  • Perform complex conceptual analyses



  • Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement



  • Forecast and plan resource requirements



  • Authorize deviations from standards



  • Lead functional or segment teams or projects



  • Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues



  • Motivate and inspire other team members



  • Support activities related to the Migrations; this would include working closely with assigned health plan representatives, IT project managers, and Business Analysts to drive success



  • Support and develop migrations requirements and output for new Migration products being deployed; this would include maintaining ongoing status of deliverables and attending all preparatory meetings regarding provider directories for new product launch



  • Maintain active relationships with UHN and network strategy functional areas to support continuous improvement of end to end processes and provider data quality of products



  • Support and maintain ongoing meetings with each Health Plan to promote and update on status of Migration activities



  • Survey and maintain the needs of each Health Plan on issues being incurred related to provider data



  • Maintain working documentation on provider data, to include progress, risks, and milestones met



  • Maintain working repository of provider data migration documentation, to include regulatory requirements, mailing dates, mass mailing schedules, prioritization of current issues, and documentation supporting migration process



  • Plan and coordinate updates to standard migration process related to business climate change or regulatory requirement changes; this would include instituting the appropriate IT project requests

Requirements

Required Qualifications:





  • 5+ years of experience in claims processing, provider data maintenance, contracting, or contract loading



  • Intermediate level of proficiency with all facility/ancillary contract reimbursement methodologies



  • 5+ years of experience with claims systems



  • Intermediate knowledge of business processes that impact facility/ancillary contact loading and auditing



  • 3+ years of experience with contract submission, validation and maintenance



  • Project Management experience



  • Excellent communication skills required including ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leadership



  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access 


Preferred Qualifications:




  • Undergraduate degree


  • Proficiency in MS Office Visio, Project and PowerPoint
