Sr. Oracle Applications Developer

Reports to –
Supervisor – Incentive Comp Technology

Job Description –
The Sr. Oracle Applications Developer is responsible to analyze, design, build and test incentive compensation plans in the Oracle Incentive Compensation Application. This position is responsible for supporting existing compensation plans which may require issue analysis, break/fix or enhance based on issues/change requests. Additionally, the Sr. Oracle Applications Developer must be well versed in creating technical design and usage documents when required.

Essential Functions -
Transform requirements into technical designs and build features for enhancements in Oracle Incentive Compensation Application to meet business challenges effectively.Require working closely with TWC internal analysts, consultants, and business teams to resolve issues and provide in-depth technical solutions for business objectives.Building/Implementing business approved new Incentive Plans and enhancing existing incentive plans based on change request.Provide technical support for production issue analysis/resolution.Conduct design and code walk-throughs, peer reviews, and testing.Produce technical-documentation for any development work.
Required Qualification –

Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Oracle Applications DevelopmentMinimum Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline.Demonstrated expertise in technical design, development and support related to Oracle EBS (R12).Proven expertise with PL/SQL, Java, XML, OAF page development, Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle Workflow, Custom Web ADI, BI Publisher, Concurrent Programs, AOL objects, SQL Loader.Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitation or driven by enterprise need.Strong technical/functional knowledge in at least 4 of the oracle application modules; Experience with Incentive Compensation is an added advantage.Oracle Alerts and Oracle workflow development and administration experience.Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scriptsStrong understanding of the Oracle Apps architecture and the various Application and Database tier components: data model, schemas, file system structure, packages, procedures.Ability to estimate projects/tasks accurately and meet agreed upon deadlines.Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in an agile team environment.Understanding of code promotion, version control, and QA procedures.
Preferred Qualification –
7+ years of experience in the development of Oracle technologiesOracle certification is a plus

This position has no supervisory responsibility

Less than 5%
