Process Engineer

Aerotek CE is recruiting for an Aerospace/Defense client in the Tupelo, MS area. We are searching for a Process Engineer.

* Analyzes and develops solutions to process and power electronic manufacturing and engineering problems in a dynamic, production-driven environment.
* Interacts with other diverse departments in coordinating technical expertise in support of power electronic manufacturing processes.
* Obtains and analyzes test data.
* Develops appropriate documentation of findings and implements solutions. May be required to make brief technical presentations.
* Defines and implements manufacturing processes, methods, tools, etc. to achieve desired outcome for cost, quality, and delivery goals.
* Develops work instructions, train personnel, trouble-shoot deficiencies as they arise.
* May provide direction to design and/or technical staff.
* Demonstrates ability to implement Lean Manufacturing Principals.
* Drives continual Improvement in Manufacturing Processes and methodologies.
* Develops and implements Manufacturing Infrastructure Improvements.
* Completes product specific assignments.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

A Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required, along with at least 6 years of pertinent experience. Power/Electronics experience is preferred.
