.NET Web Developer - Full-time / Part-time

Experis is currently looking for a .Net Web Developer for a client of ours in Downtown Denver. This person will be responsible for implementing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enhancements for internal and external web products.



Responsibilities:

In addition to following the client's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Writing and developing high quality code including unit tests within the context of a pre-existing technical infrastructure

Contributing to the development of web applications and collaborating on process enhancements to increase the effectiveness of the IT development team

Developing initial application designs and collaborating with the team during design reviews

Providing input on User Story and Task estimates

Implementing complex designs with a high degree of visual and functional integrity

Maintaining all internally developed applications with respect to enhancements and bug fixes

Designing and developing custom web applications to address business needs in order to drive efficiency within the organization

Designing and creating interfaces to integrate corporate or third party systems

Continually migrating solutions to newer technologies

Maintaining current knowledge of industry best practices

Developing and maintaining relationships with business partners



The ideal candidate will:

Have extensive server development knowledge and skills, including Object Oriented Programming; C# services middleware (WCF or WebAPI Services using REST; JSON; LINQ; Services Versioning); Layered Programming (Auto Mapper); Unit/Integration Testing (MOQ; MS Test; Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control using Unity); Database Modeling (Entity Framework); and SQL Server

Preferably have web development knowledge and skills, including CSS; AngularJS; JQuery; ASP.Net MVC and Razor; and HTML 5

Preferably have experience with Domain Driven Design; Code First; LESS, SASS or other CSS pre-processors; NuGet; and TFS

Have experience working with an Agile/Scrum development team

Possess a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment

Be flexible and able to adapt to any given situation

Have a customer-focused attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

Have the ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions

Make timely and sound decisions

Be able to multi-task in an effective manner and work successfully in a fast-paced environment

Work well in either a team setting or independently, producing required results without close supervision

Have the ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations

Be self-motivated, requiring limited supervision or direction

Manage information and data in a confidential and professional manner

Have a B.A./B.S. in MIS or Computer Science, or an equivalent in education and experience

Possess five (5) to seven (7) years of software development experience

Enjoy minimal travel
