We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Industrial Mechanic.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting by use of testing equipment and other measuring techniques
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hand and power tools
- Make adjustments to functional parts of equipment and control systems
- Manage downtime by coordinating with production department personnel on routine preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
- Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment
- Operate Forklift
- General welding
Education and/or Experience & Skills
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
