The Admissions Department at Alliance Health Center provides crisis, assessment and admission services 24 hours a day, seven days a week and serves as the central hub of the hospital's inpatient psychiatric admissions. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this position is responsible for participating in the day-to-day activities of the department to enhance efficiency and customer service which includes face to face assessments, patient admissions. This position will also ensure the engagement of family members, referrals sources, services providers and the patients in pre-admissions discharge planning.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in customer service, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Masters degree with major academic studies in psychology, social work or health/counseling field including appropriate on-the-job training and experience to meet the duties and responsibilities of this position. Marketing and sales abilities preferred. Must have the ability to complete clinical assessments.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid state driver's license with appropriate endorsement.
Preferred candidates will have the following skills / abilities:
experience working with managed care organizations
experience working with juvenile judicial systems
experience in development and representation of marketing for facility
