POSITION PURPOSE 
The Sr. Analyst, Inventory Solutions will be responsible for executing key portions of projects within the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Organization. This role will participate in planning, designing, and implementing new systems or changes in existing systems. The Analyst will participate in design and development of inventory management metrics and reports to support the business needs, and will play a role in business process documentation, design and improvement. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for leading key inventory management improvement initiatives and provide key data driven insight and resolution recommendations. This person will be charged with completing multiple initiatives against aggressive schedules. This role will work across functional groups to coordinate efforts and ensure success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in IT project management, nice to have.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience in retail or supply chain operations, nice to have.
  • Good communication skills with wide variety of audiences.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines and deliverables.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Leads cross functional projects by developing project plan, timeline, and coordinating teams across each operational area. Ensure on time delivery of specific goals and requirements for inventory management projects
  • Analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact each year
  • Documents Business Requirements and processes in a standard format
  • Provide ad-hoc business analysis, metrics, and reporting to support business needs
  • Model System Solutions and Scope the system
  • Design and develop inventory management and systems training as required.
  • Executes test plans with IT
  • Maintains project plans, issues, risks and related documentation
  • Coach and mentor Inventory Solutions Analyst on the team

    NATURE AND SCOPE
  • Reports to Manager, Inventory Solutions
  • No direct responsibility for supervising others.

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. 
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check

    EDUCATION REQUIRED 
    The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. 

    YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE 
    3 Years

    PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Previous retail experience in inventory management
  • Understanding of inventory management principles
