  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Requires intermediate computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet applications.
  • Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Sit for long periods of time or stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of an Inventory Specialist
  • Compile and processes inventory reports and orders for accuracy and review
  • Research, recount, and reconcile inventory discrepancies and recommend actions to resolve
  • Pull orders from the IHS Inventory Ordering System (DPO), move inventory, and prepare truck routings for shipments
  • Responsible for all inbound/outbound inventory transactions including the preparation and processing of RMA, Service returns and inter-org forms; ensure that all goods are brought into inventory accurately
  • Monitor inventory levels and interact with other departments to ensure replenishment schedules are maintained
  • Schedule, assist, and maintain inbound freight schedules
  • Assist with the layout of warehouse and other storage areas to support product rotations
  • Determine and expedite workflow; assign duties to other staff within conformance of policies and procedures when warehouse manager is not available
  • Demonstrate the ability to help train new employees
  • May assist management in assigning work to ensure SOX requirements are followed and in reviewing the appropriate documents to recommend daily inventory adjustment approvals by Director or above
