POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining security protection, which includes money transactions, public relations, performing dispatch functions, assisting guests and employees as needed and maintaining order in accordance with established policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Maintains order on Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park’s property providing extraordinary guest service at all times and has the resiliency to deal with the difficult guest.
  • Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Assists guests and team members on directions and proper procedures.
  • Protects all transfers of money and vouchers on the gaming floor as well as the physical transportation of machine fills and VLT jackpots. 
  • Assists sick or injured guests and team members.
  • Reports unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Checks identification of all persons that appear to be under 21 years of age.
  • Stays alert for, reports, and responds appropriately to all violations on company property.
  • Composes accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
  • Operates company vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Responds to Emergency situations as necessary.  Conducts emergency actions including, but not limited to performing evacuations, establishing and maintaining cordons, and perimeters.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Continued:

  • Performs dispatch activities and logs all dispatches accurately.
  • Prepares detailed reports on security incidents and submits to Security Supervisor for review.
  • Maintains confidentiality with respect to company and guest information.
  • Assists in evacuation processes and procedures on the property as required.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Perform work regularly and predictably.
  • Other duties as assigned.


NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS

  • Attend seminars when needed.


EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training, or through related experience. Previous work in a similar role preferred, but not required.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
  • CPR Certificate and Blood Borne Pathogen training.


KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • CPR training.
  • Investigative procedures.
  • Extreme confidentiality.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.


ABILITY TO:

  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Ability to compose clear, concise and accurate reports.
  • Be bonded, with no felony convictions.
  • Assist sick or injured guests and or team members.
  • Communicate courteously, effectively and professionally with guests, outside contacts and all levels of team members.
  • Use tools and equipment such as keys, handcuffs, flashlights, radios, computers and other tools specific to the position.
  • Drive company vehicles at times, and if so, maintain valid driver’s license.
