Description
The Merchandise and Service Coordinator is responsible for delivering a legendary guest experience in both retail and salon. This includes maintaining a high-energy, positive environment, where behaviors that support guest-centric service are consistently demonstrated. This individual may be responsible for opening the store as needed. In addition, this individual will oversee sales, merchandising, guest service, and all operational functions to meet or exceed company goals; individual may delegate these responsibilities to other associates. Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism when interacting with internal and external guests.

Promotes and models legendary service; creates a culture of hospitality within the store and salon
Understands and executes the GEM program in accordance with company standards
Assists with the promotion of company sales and brand initiatives to meet or exceed goals, including NPS, the loyalty program, email capture, and other company initiatives
Guides associates to complete tasks and achieve goals
Supervises sales floor and drives retail and salon performance by addressing guest concerns, coaching associates, and maintaining loss prevention standards
In absence of store management, completes store opening procedures including following all opening checklists
Demonstrates knowledge and passion for company products and services
Addresses all guest concerns and questions promptly and with professionalism
Executes lead cashier responsibilities per company policy including returns, exchanges, check approvals, issuing merchandise vouchers, and processing salon tips
Leads load processing to deliver productivity goals; manages roll-arounds and bunkers
Ensures that the daily merchandise flexing process, daily replenishment process, store communications, backroom organization, and store cleanliness standards are properly executed when opening
Works in partnership with associate managers to complete inventory integrity processes, which may include out of stocks, returns to vendor, returns to distribution center, and cycle counts
Remains current on all company policies and ensures that all policies, standards and procedures are consistently maintained and followed
Stays up-to-date on all store systems
Experience we are looking for...
2 yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; a concentration in merchandising preferred
2 yrs. of progressively responsible retail management experience; supervisory experience is preferred
Demonstrated competency in sales, products, and service
Proven ability to delegate and multi-task
Knowledge of retail merchandising practices
Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Other
Scheduling flexibility is required; must be able to work 5, 5-hour shifts during morning and evening hours
On a regular basis, requires the ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stand for a minimum of 6--8 hours, and lift and/or move 50 lbs.
On a frequent basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch
On an occasional basis, requires the ability to climb a ladder and maintain balance
