Summary

Territory Sales Representative

Position Summary

Sales position responsible for increasing market share and awareness of Client’s products in the assigned sales territory.?
  • Sales Execution: Meet or exceed all sales targets assigned to the position; execute sales calls. Increasing market share
  • Convincing/training the designer at Client’s location. That these are the best cabinets for purchase and that they should promote this type cabinet above the other brands.
  • Teaching/coaching the store designer on how to pitch the sale or improve the layouts of the cabinets on their design system to “secure” the sale
  • Communication – Manage client, customer and consumer communication and follow up needs. Thru direct influence and relationship building with the designer as well as interaction with the customers/contractors who are in the store shopping for cabinets they increase sales of this specific cabinet type over the other three types.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain and update store displays, marketing materials and execute new program initiatives


Strategy Development: Develop territory level and store-level strategy to increase market share. Gain understanding and insight of customer and consumer needs by direct interaction with consumers.

  • Executes verbal and written business communications, in a manner that effectively achieves business objectives, reflects the Company’s commitment to integrity, and is in keeping with Company policies (including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics).
  • Delivers work that meets or exceeds management expectations as to quality, quantity, timeliness and attendance.
  • Ensures workflow and processes are followed as needed to achieve business objectives and maximum level of operational efficiency
  • Adheres to Company Policies & Procedures including but not limited to associate policies found on the Company’s intranet site and the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Complies with applicable laws
  • Performs the job safely utilizing proper equipment and safety techniques
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department
  • Sales/Revenue Responsibility


Driving Requirements
  • Driving is an essential duty – DMV check will be requires as will use of a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement program.


Travel Requirements
  • Overnight travel is required on an as needed basis. Please inquire for details.


Schedule Requirements
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary


Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience


Experience
  • 2 years of experience in an outside sales or kitchen design position
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to present information to customers and consumers as needed and be able to participate in meetings with other business partners
  • Must be able to prioritize effectively, work independently or as part of a project team to complete multiple tasks concurrently


Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 20/20 Kitchen Design software
  • Experience selling kitchen cabinetry and or home center sales preferred
  • Ability to work well with little or no immediate supervision


Tools/Software
  • Computer skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
