Dispatcher - Full-time / Part-time

General Responsibilities:

Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC), one of the largest suppliers of rented industrial & construction equipment, seeks a talented individual to fill the role of Dispatcher in the greater Seattle area. This position is directly involved in identifying customer needs, coordinating activities of delivery drivers, maintaining competitive data, inventory control and daily business reporting. Some of the other responsibilities include..

Answer customer calls and concerns Prioritize, Schedule and Dispatch delivery and pick up of equipment Determines the most effective mode and routing of equipment into company facilities and to the customer Use routing tools to ensure movement of equipment adheres to DOT and State/Federal law Relay work orders, messages, and information to and from drivers, supervisors and customers Data entry Other tasks as assigned by management

Mandatory Requirements:

Educational Background:

Bachelors Degree Preferred or relevant prior experience Professional Experience:

Prior Dispatch experience Must have strong understanding of the logistics pertaining to the greater Seattle market heavy equipment movement Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments in the fast paced environment of the construction industry An attention to detail Customer service focused Must have good data entry skills Excellent communication skills Strong computer skills Physical Requirements:
