This position is located in the GTA, Ft. Myers Service Center, Field Operations -- Collections. Selection Criteria: Applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent; must have experience preparing correspondence/properly handling, sorting, processing, distributing daily mail; strong social/organizational skills; strong attention to details; experience with answering telephones; advanced experience with business productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point) -- creating and maintaining and working with computers, data entry -- manual/automated; experience with typing and alphabetical/numerical filing; strong skip tracing skills; experience with calculating accuracy of statements, billings/collections -- basic mathematical skills; dealing with cash; ability to work in a fast-paced/high volume detailed environment; able to multi-task/meet deadlines in short turn-around times. Applicant must have at least two years' experience in the above areas. NOTE: This position will be assisting two Collection Supervisors and agents.

Annual Salary: $20,734.56

Monthly Salary: $1,727.88

DESCRIPTION

This is work performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position provides clerical assistance and support to the Service Center Manager, Process Group Managers and compliance review staff and maintains an understanding of the daily operation of the Compliance Review sub-process. Will have Word and Excel experience and perform duties such as correspondence, filing, and copying. Will also have the ability to input information, make revisions and produce final products within established time frames.

Input data and prepare final legal documents such as notices, letters of assessment and other filing documentation. Prepare correspondence memorandums, statistical reports and other documents relating to the administration of the tax laws. If necessary, proofread the prepared materials for correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. Assist as needed in the preparation and processing of personnel files, interview and new hire packages. Assist in the input of personnel information onto the administrative computer when required.

With the use of computer prepares, types and distributes general office correspondence.

Prepares individual correspondence to taxpayers. Opens and screens incoming mail. Distributes mail to appropriate staff or handles what can be done independently. Answers telephones, relays messages and information.

Inputs and updates audit information into administrative computer. Prints reports and distributes to appropriate staff.

Assists the Unemployment staff by calling the employers and others to confirm appointments and requests information needed for the performance of their work.

Maintains office files on purchase requisitions, supply order and other correspondence or as a backup for these duties.

Assists management with the assembly of documentary materials for presentation at group meetings and taxpayer's request.

Maintains records and files pertaining to the compliance review sub-process.

Data input of SAP social data of a Business Partner and print audit file labels and create audit files. May administratively review an audit file and reconcile it to ACM before closing the file to Tallahassee.

Answer telephone calls, takes messages and maintains a log on all out-of-state telephone calls.

Performs other duties as may be required.
