Manufacturing Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Our client is an aerospace parts and components division in San Antonio is looking for a manufacturing Engineer to support the expected new business growth. They are looking for a hands on professional with a combination of people skills and technical aptitude that is required to build an infrastructure of standard processes and procedures while supporting the operations of their sheet metal manufacturing facility.

Work Environment:

Will be working in a production environment that will require the engineer to be working on the production floor as well as in the office.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree with 5+ years related experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Sheet metal experience.
• Experience implementing lean standards and doing process improvements out on the floor of the facility. (Six Sigma)
• Candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision and make technical judgments without consulting with managers.
• Currently our client is implementing an ERP system, if the ME has experience with this system, it would be useful. They are using IFS as the ERP
