Architectural Drafter - Part-time

Residential/Commercial interior design firm seeking an experienced architectural CAD drafter. Education and experience in interior design, architecture, and/or engineering is required. Applicant must be able to create and annotate architectural drawings in AutoCAD to create a bookset of drawings for permit submission. Knowledge of the permit process is a plus. Applicant must understand and be able to create electrical, mechanical, and construction drawings, including elevations, sections, and details for customization. Applicant must be able to develop drawings from design sketches and designer markups. Occasional visits to the job site for field measuring and verifying maybe be requested. This is a freelance position and will be paid based on a fixed fee per project. Applicant will work from their own office and must have a personal copy of AutoCAD. Experience in Revit is a plus but not required. Attention to detail is a must!

Requirements:
- Must speak English.
- Education and experience in interior design, architecture, and/or engineering for drafting purposes.
- 3-5 years using AutoCAD.
- Must have own personal copy of AutoCAD.
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
