Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, supervises the following activities of the Nursing Services Department: Human resource management, patient care management, education and development, and fiscal management including the appropriate allocation of human and material resources for the delivery of patient care. Functions as a resource person for staff members, and assists in patient care and educational programs specific to the units. Makes decisions based on Hospital Administrative Policies, Personnel Policies, and Patient Care Policies. Refers significant information to the Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Executive Officer as appropriate. Current RN licensure with the State of Tennessee.
BSN, preferred.
3 years of nursing experience in comparable setting.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
