Manufacturing / Production Operators - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Manufacturing / Production Operators.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking automotive assemblers, production operators, and manufacturing workers for our customers in Monroe County. Most of these positions are full-time, long-term, and offer competitive pay rates - many starting at $10 per hour! All shifts are available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), including the opportunity to work overtime! Associates with great work performance may be considered for hire directly with the company. Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Working on an assembly line, at machine, or at a workstation assembling and producing a variety of parts. * Preparing work to be assembled by studying and understanding instructions, drawings, and parts lists. * Gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials to perform assembly. * Assembling components by hand or using tools/machinery. * Inspecting and verifying completed products meet documented specifications. * Packaging parts in accordance with specifications to prevent damage when shipping and labeling the finished products. * Documenting products assembled on work orders or other production forms. * Maintaining a clean and safe work station/environment by complying with procedures, rules/regulations, and safety guidelines. * Communicating with team members and management, participating in problem-solving, and providing feedback/recommendations. Preferred qualifications: * High school diploma or GED. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including a variety of shifts, on weekends, and overtime if needed. * Previous work experience in an automotive, manufacturing, or production setting is preferred but not required for all positions. * Ability to follow a set of specific instructions. * Ability to do repetitive work, stand for long period of the time (sometimes 100%), and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. * Ability to perform physically demanding work, such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending. * Good hand dexterity and ability to use basic tools to assemble parts. * Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures; quality management systems; and environmental, health, and safety regulations. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing/production systems a plus!
