RN Operating Room, PRN - Pediatric Surgery Center - Brandon, FL
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is qualified to provide nursing care of the patient within the Operating Room.
Supports the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the facility.
Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities.
Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
Maintains and promotes professional competence through continuing education and other learning experiences.
Provides effective and efficient supervisory activities necessary for patient care.
Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and staff to provide effective case management.
Addresses patient needs during the admission to the operating room with attention to requirements specific to the outpatient settings.
Performs the circulating nurse's functions adhering to approved operating room procedures for the scheduled procedures.
Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patients and physicians.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Florida RN License.
BLS and PALS certifications.
Minimum 1 year Operating Room experience.
