Chicago, IL Company Seeks Advanced Machine Operators/CNC's
- All shifts available
- $16+/hour based on experience
- Overtime required during busy season
Duties Include;
- Performs a series of activities to fabricate lighting fixtures including; set-up, operate, control and adjust CNC machines
- Performs highly complex contour machining of the company products or parts
- Inspects finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges and Virtek machines
- Troubleshoots setups
- Documents procedures and changes
- Verifies the quality of fixtures at any point in the process
- Makes sure parts are free of burrs
Requirements Include;
- Industrial experience with CNC machines, Salvagnini experience a plus
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts in short periods of time
- Ability to multitask
- High sense of teamwork
- Customer-focused with a high sense of urgency
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprints and instructions
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience in lean production a plus
