Positions Immediately Available for Energetic, Highly Self Motivated People who enjoy being Outdoors and in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Entry Level Position with full training in the Growing Utility Industry
Compensation: (11.00p/h - During Probation Period) Advances in hourly wages and incentive bonuses are discussed during the interview
Position Description: Safety--Quality--Production
-Performs manual meter reading of existing utility meters required. (Electric)
-Demonstrates safe, high quality work practices in a team atmosphere.
-Performs up to standards within timeframes outlined by Field Supervisor and Project Manager.
-Commitment to customer service - responding to the needs of internal and external customers.
-Completes all work in an organized, timely manner, within instructed standard procedure.
-Identifies and reports conditions found that prohibit the reading of meters and/or any hazardous conditions to management.
-Sets appropriate priorities and works in accordance with legal hours worked policy and all safety requirements as outlined within Corporate Policy and Procedures.
-Day shift hours. Some overtime and weekend hours may at times be required.
-Grid One Solutions is a Drug Free Work Place; Employees at all levels are subject to pre-employment as well as random drug screens throughout the duration of the project.
-Grid One Solutions is committed to attaining only the highest quality employees: All staff are subject to pre-employment and periodic background checks to verify clean records and lack of criminal activities.
-Commitment to complete work assignments and high meter reading accuracy.
Education / Experience / Aptitude Requirements
-High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
-Must be willing to work with and around electric/water/gas meters.
-Ability to comprehend new hand-held technology; i.e., Cell Phones, GPS, PDAs, Digital Cameras.
-Strong Directional Skills: Ability to read and understand maps via GPS instruments and websites, i.e. Garmins, Tom Toms, Yahoo Maps, MapQuest, etc.
-Physical Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs, and ability to comfortably walk at a steady pace throughout the work day.
-Self-motivated with ability to work with little supervision. Additionally, good verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
-Must be willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.
-Must be willing to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions applicable to the Oklahoma Area.
-Must be able to interact effectively with field representatives and customers in a proactive manner.
-Experience in a production/quota driven environment.
-Knowledge of the Tulsa, OK Area and surrounding counties.
