Sr. UX Designers - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate, contract-to-hire needs in Watertown for Senior User Experience Designers

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and QA professionals on new tools and redesigns.
You will need to come up with appropriate design solutions using UX heuristics while having empathy for the customer and the business.
Work with the usability team to incorporate feedback from usability testing.
Communicate your design solutions effectively through business deliverables including but not limited to: Sketches, Storyboards, Wireframes, User Flows, User Scenarios, User Personas, visual design comps, and/or Prototyping.
Work as part of a team on collaboration but have pride and ownership of your work.
Passion to learn and keep up to date on techniques, trends, and common design patterns.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in a UX role

REQUIRED SKILLS:
you can provide a portfolio of work and describe what part you played in that work.
You need to be able to communicate design ideas.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
You need to have a love and passion for design and be open to change.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Development experience using HTML5, CSS and JS is a plus.
Experience with Visio, Omnigraffle, or similar
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and writing skills
Background in Visual Design or Human Factors Engineering
Experience in rapid prototyping a plus
