Senior Associate, Credit Card Line Management - Job ID 31045-IHM - Full-time

Discover Products Inc seeks a Senior Associate, Credit Card Line Management in Riverwoods, Illinois to Initiate, develop and implement credit risk criteria across a range of segments and products establishing appropriate profitability trade-offs. Use various tools and statistical analysis to maximize business return on the business exposure ensuring that key business factors are understood and measured, including impact on usage, revenue and risk. Develop and implement comprehensive range of line management policies consistent with achievement of defined business objectives. Establish and maintain effective strategy performance tracking and control ensuring that strategies are performing as expected and feeding back learning’s into strategy and policy changes in a timely manner. Identify and make enhancements to the business use of internal and external data sources within account management processes. Create and run an effective range of segmentation, champion challenger programs in a fully controlled environment. Serve as resource to less experience associates in solving business problem. Work with other team members on projects, assuming leadership roles on cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field, or equivalent and one (1) year of experience conducting statistical analysis and building models to identify relationships between key business driver, such as impact on usage, revenue and risk; utilizing analytical tools and software such as SAS, SQL and Unix.
