Sales Assistant Job Description
Sales Assistant Job Duties:
1. Handle applications from origination to funding while keeping all parties informed throughout the processes
2. Prepare and process lease / loan contracts
3. Evaluate accuracy and completion of contracts, titles, and insurance
4. Coordinate with other departments to finalize funding transactions
5. Support Sales Team with cultivating new, current, and past relationships through marketing and cold calling
6. Service existing accounts
7. Resolve problems and makes decisions within limits of authority
8. Adjust and adhere to new procedures and policies
9. Run sales reports upon request
Skills / Qualifications:
1. Must be organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
2. Able to build rapport with clients and vendors
3. Strong time management skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately and meet expected deadlines
4. Must be literate in Windows & Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel and general computer knowledge (e.g. internet experience)
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience in a related role required
Location: near New Hyde Park, NY
Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 contingent upon prior experience
