A Maintenance Mechanic I will perform a variety of functions which are directly related to maintaining machines and facilities. This typically involves a combination of the various duties relating to the upkeep and operation of equipment in a manufacturing environment with some minor repair needs. Duties include keeping grounds, equipment and facilities in suitable operating condition.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for keeping coolant concentrations for machines used for the machining process to an acceptable level and free from contamination.
Assist with snow removal and general up keep of grounds.
Some minor facility repair.
Knowledgeable of the internal maintenance specifications.
Operation of maintenance equipment such as; aerial Lifts, forklifts, janitorial equipment, snow removal equipment and other miscellaneous equipment.
Using various hand tools to perform minor repairs.
Must be able to perform jobs functions with the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Must adhere to all EH & S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH & S
Follow the EH & S roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP5322
