The Opportunity

As the Sales Curator for Dallas, you hold the key that unlocks your city. Our members look to you to comb through hundreds of neighborhoods and countless local businesses and activities to bring the most compelling restaurants, spas, fitness classes, cultural events, artistic performances and much, much more to their inbox 2-3 times a week. This is a unique opportunity to truly own and build a market with untapped potential. This Sales Curator position will be based out of your own home office and will require frequent travel to vendor sales meetings in the market.

Job Description

Gilt City is looking for a dynamic Sales Curator who can identify "on-brand," key targets and deliver sales that reinforce our company mission to Love Your City More. This person will reach out to hundreds of local businesses, cultivating key relationships that reinforce building a life more beautiful for Gilt members. This person will own their own portion of business and work with their Market Lead to strategize on ways to reach and exceed sales goals.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the local market with an established network of tastemakers and local businesses. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace, have an inherent creative ability to identify unique coveted experiences and have a passion for winning and the ability to execute quickly.

Responsibilities

Own and drive full cycle sales on a continual basis by bringing in new accounts and maintaining relationships in order to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Interface and communicate effectively with the planning, account management, editorial and leadership teams
Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management on a quarterly basis
Represent Gilt City at trade and tastemaker events.

Qualifications

Proven track record of success as a driven sales professional
2-4 years full cycle, direct sales experience (conducting research, cold calling, face to face meetings, offer creation, deal execution, negotiation, relationship management, etc.)
Experience with events, local services, media sales and/or luxury brands preferred
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
Strong negotiation skills
Knowledge and passion for the Dallas marketplace
Ability to work in a fast paced, start-up environment
Self-starter that is ambitious in nature with an entrepreneurial approach
Ability to work remotely and be in market on a regular basis
