To supervise and coordinate the work activities the warehouse maintenance Team Members and to provide them with clear direction to meet customer requirements, maintenance demands, and Company goals.

Requirements

  • Prioritize and delegate workload to Maintenance Technicians to ensure internal customer requirements are met and productivity is maximized.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to ensure equipment remains operational for efficient production processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Evaluate equipment and recommend changes, repairs, purchases and/or replacements to maintain safe, efficient operations. Provide Leadership with estimated costs of equipment repair and /or replacements as necessary.
  • Provide instruction and training to Maintenance Technicians on safe operation of equipment, tools, and systems.
  • Maintain a consistent presence throughout the facility to supervise and monitor job performance of Maintenance Technicians. Promote and coach safety and productivity. Reinforce and recognize good work habits, identify training needs, and/or initiate corrective action as necessary.
  • Coordinate repairs with outside contractors to minimize interruptions to facility operations.
  • Utilize problem solving and conflict resolution skills and escalate situations to department Manager, Operations Manager and/or Human Resources when appropriate.
  • Communicate and enforce federal, Corporate and Company policies and procedures and consistently administer and maintain compliance within the Labor Agreement.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the profit and loss report and maintenance department budget.
  • Log daily attendance for Maintenance Technicians and submit to payroll on a daily basis.
  • Maintain complete and up to date working knowledge of industry standards and OSHA requirements for building maintenance and operation. Knowledge of ammonia cooling systems and hazmat training.
  • Perform special projects as needed and assigned.
