Credit Granting Representative- Seasonal Full Time Monday through Friday 10:00AM-6:45PM or 10:30AM-7:15PM with 6 out of 8 weekend days. MCCS (Clearwater, FL)

Overview:

Credit Granting Representatives are responsible for answering incoming customer service phone calls related to credit card application requests, account guideline increases, and the approval of sales and checks. The salary range for this position is $11.00 - $13.15 per hour.

Key Accountabilities:

• Answer phone calls from sales associates and customers requesting to open a new credit card account, increase a current account guideline, and approve a sale. Appropriate action must be taken according to the type of call, all while maintaining professional conversation and providing good customer service.
• Complete account maintenance including address changes, lost/stolen reports, and returned mail.
• Ensure compliance to adverse action.
• Review and investigate credit bureau disputes.
• Review, research, and decision credit requests via queues or reports.

Skills Summary:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, problem solving, analytical, decision-making, follow-up, and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications preferred.
• Computer keyboarding and navigational skills required.
