We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assembler.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently recruiting for an Assembler position for one of our clients in Kings Mountain, NC! Job Responsibilities: *Build assigned sub-assemblies and transmission units from specification sheets, drawings, and work instructions *Work with components which weigh up to 50 pounds *Install assigned sub-assemblies into the transmission *Accumulate all needed parts to build with *Work with numerous assorted parts *Inspect incoming parts/transmissions for missing operations and part number identification. Work with specification sheets and Oracle *Monitor and log data on torque *Maintain Kan-Ban system *Correlate metal I.D. tags with paper tags *Inspects product/samples for quality acceptance using proper inspection procedures and maintains logs, SPC forms, etc., as required and Performs minor and preventative maintenance as required *Assists in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals as well as Performs work in a manner that supports our Quality systems (e.g., QS, 9000, TS 16949) and Environmental system (e.g., ISO 14000) *Download proper data into Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and Assemble X-Y Shifter *Perform minor repair and rework as required and Assemble and package service components for APD units *Assists in training new employees and reports unusual conditions, safety issues or defective material to a coach *Works within quality and quantity standards and have the ability to work more than 40 hours per week *Maintains work area housekeeping and assist in department/team housekeeping efforts Requirements: *High school diploma or its equivalent Hours: 11:00pm - 7:20am Contract Length: 1 year Pay: $10.00/hr If you are interested in this position please apply and go to www.manpowerjobs.com and create a profile with us!
