This is a private military college which offers both a civilian and military lifestyle. Norwich University is the founding institution of ROTC. Their objective is to encourage students to become stronger and more determined leaders. They offer a variety of majors including engineering, nursing, and criminal justice among other courses of study.
Sodexo serves over 2,000 students 5,000 meals per day. The Food service Manager will be responsible for the residential dining hall on campus.
Position Summary
Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
