Nursing Supervisor

The Nursing Supervisor coordinates the activities on each shift to maintain 24-hour nursing administrative coverage. The Nursing Supervisor supervises and directs nursing personnel and monitors staffing and skill mix for appropriate staffing levels in the absence of the Nursing Director. Serves as a clinical resource for the nursing staff, assisting with problem solving in the determining interventions as appropriate for the patient age and clinical situation. Serves as a resource for the Charge Nurses.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Bachelor's degree preferred; prior experience and expertise in management either in front line or shift supervisory work preferred; BCLS certification required.
