Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Operations Manager for a personal care facility, The Brunswick at Attleboro, located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania . The Operations Manager will oversee the dining operations for this 116-bed facility. This position is for a location owned and operated by a newly formed partnership with WILMAC Corporation. The Food Operations Manager must be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors and managing people and the dining operation to make every day a better day for our clients and residents with the goal of creating dining experiences, not just meals. Best qualified candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent leadership and communication skills. Will provide leadership during client and resident catering functions; will interface with the client and residents on a regular basis to listen to and look for opportunities for innovation and creativity. The Operations Manager for this community will be responsible to manage all dining experiences for the residents. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years food service management experience in a healthcare environment and will possess CDM certification and/or an Associates degree. Will report to the General Manager.

The Operations Manager will have an active role in managing the daily events and operations related to finance, cost controls, customer service, and will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with several generations in the workplace to exceed resident and client expectations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all planning and organizing activities fully support the Sodexo Brand at all dining experiences in a respectful and appreciative manner.

Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
