Host/Hostess works as part of a team to ensure that IHR customers receive excellent customer service. S/he is responsible for: greeting and efficiently seating guests in a restaurant that is properly maintained; supervising all staff; and maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room. Requirements include: knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations; written and verbal English language communication skills; the ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items; and the ability to effectively solve customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

This position requires a Pre-Hire Assessment as part of the application process. For best results we recommend you complete the assessment in one seating without any interruptions or distractions and therefore advise that you begin the application process when you can dedicate 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted time to apply for this opening.

Looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team of hospitality professionals. Candidates must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language and conduct themselves professionally at all times. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including and not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years experience in cash handling, host/hostess skills, serving and supervising a staff, knowledge of working with POS systems (Micros), and should have excellent customer service skills.  Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
