About this job

Company Information: Commercial Steam Cleaners uses truck mounted steam pressure washers to clean grease from commercial kitchen hood exhaust systems. These hood systems are found in restaurants, hospitals, schools, casinos, office buildings, etc. The work can only be performed when the kitchens are shut down, which can be in the afternoons for schools and office buildings and then at night after closing for restaurants, casinos, etc.

Job Description: A Cleaning Technician will use pressure washers, spray tanks, scrapers, mops, and other cleaning aids to clean the exhaust systems. Occasionally ladders are used to gain access to fans on the roof or ductwork in ceilings. A degreasing detergent is used to help break down the grease and rinsed with a hot water, high pressure, power washer. We clean the hoods, filters, connecting ductwork, and exhaust fan housing and blades. Occasionally we may also use our cleaning equipment to clean equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens. We also clean floors, walk in coolers, walls, and concrete. We have 2 technicians per truck, one is the Crew Leader and the other the Crew Helper.
