The Central Supply Technician reports to the Supervisor of Supply Chain Management. Will assemble and package irradiation material for Jessup and Edison for core production. Will complete appropriate paperwork and communicate inventory production levels to both facilities. Track inventory through QAD. Assist and develop lean processes and efficiencies internally in pack consolidation with customers. Manpower has an immediate need for two Central Supply Technicians in the Mid-Valley Industrial Park in Jessup. Starting pay rate is $12.30/hr. Both 1st and 2nd shift available. The Central Supply Technician reports to the Supervisor of Supply Chain Management. Your role will be to assemble and package irradiation material for two facilities for core production. You will also complete appropriate paperwork and communicate inventory production levels to both facilities. The Central Supply Tech is responsible for tracking inventory through QAD, assisting and developing lean processes and efficiencies internally in pack consolidation with customers. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of one years' experience in Central Supply or Packaging industry with specific shipping background. Must have a HS Diploma/GED, although a degree or some university courses are a big plus. If hired by our client, the Central Supply Technician will need to earn a Certificate in Central Service within 3 years of hire date. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lb. and to work for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break.
