About this job
We are a small business, so each of our team members wears several hats. The ideal candidate for this position will be marketing-minded and computer-savvy, creating graphics and text for our eCommerce store, advertising, and social media campaigns. Additionally, they will manage the online store by fulfilling orders and keeping items up to date. Other tasks include managing the online bridal registry, inputting new gift registries, and assisting with retail operations when needed. This position is part-time (about 20 hours a week).
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Great computer skills in general (we use Mac OS X)
- Experience in creating graphics for web & print
- Knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc)
- Good writing skills
SKILLS PREFERRED
- Experience with retail, point-of-sale software, or eCommerce
- Experience with Magento or other CMS
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
- A graphic design or web design portfolio is a plus
