Controls Engineer-Direct Hire Location: New Columbia, PA Salary: $50k+, depending on experience Manpower is calling all Engineers! Primary purpose of this position: Responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Also responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Employ both Digital/Software and Analog based methods of debugging. Designs and develops electrical equipment, components, products, and control systems. Develops, tests, maintains and modifies applications of controls, instruments, and systems and prepares electrical schematics, panel layouts, PLC programming, operator interface designs, and upgrades/enhances controls on existing products. Works with the design team to learn work flow, drawing preparation and BOM structure. Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, codes, standards and customer requirements. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Makes engineering changes/improvements within CAD environment and processes engineering change requests in a timely manner. Ensures customers are satisfied, consistent with expectations. Participates in design reviews with design team members and reads and interprets technical materials. Provides product support on the manufacturing floor. Education and/or Experience include but are not limited to: *Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field *Master's degree is desirable *2 years' experience in a "job shop" environment desired *Working knowledge of MS Office software, RSView and WonderWare software, PLC programming proficiency with Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 products as well as other platforms, AutoCAD drawing software and BPCSW *Possess a base understanding of, a Scripting langue (C, Python, C#, or C++), latter logic, and function block programing methods and the Eaton controller platform with XSoft-CoDeSyS-2 and Galileo 8.0 software If you or someone you know sounds like they would be interested in this job APPLY TODAY by creating an account at www.manpowerjobs.com or call 570-321-6688!!!!!!
