About this job
Responsible for the maintenance
of the facility's life safety systems and has specific expertise in Maintenance
& Mechanical Systems. Performs a variety of other duties in and
around the facility including, but not limited to, Minor electrical work,
plumbing, construction, and general building maintenance. Services a wide
variety of equipment and systems including but not limited to installation,
testing, inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs involving heating,
ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration related control systems through
the hospital. Keeps informed of new methods, equipment, etc., and
continually plans for improving the department to accomplish work more
efficiently and economically. Ideas and concerns are voiced with supervisors on
an on-going basis. Establishes and maintains working relationships with
staff of other departments and coordinates work to facilitate overall
departmental operations. *
Minimum
three years experience in commercial maintenance, preferably in a healthcare
environment.

Must
possess an experienced-based knowledge of general maintenance, heating, ventilation
and air conditioning plumbing and minor electrical.

HVAC
and electrical background required .

Ability
to read, analyze and interpret blue prints.

skills

school Education or GED
