SALARY: $49k-$52k yearly plus bonus

JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you looking for a great opportunity to join a long standing, deeply rooted Portland company in Downtown Portland? This is Help Desk position supporting users via phone support and walk-in traffic. Position offers a competitive salary ranging from $49,000-$52,000+bonus. This position will provide direct support for 700+ internal and external business technology users. Products/services include PC desktops/laptops, mobile devices, network connectivity, peripheral devices, file sharing/collaboration tools, desktop application software, and conference room AV support. Candidate will be expected to expedite problem resolution, remediate technical issues and respond to general needs and questions relating to use of technology. Candidate must possess excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills, with strong decision making abilities, courteous and patient phone etiquette, and a detail oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities:
•Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems. Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
•Courteously obtain and convey concise problem information for external and internal service personnel.
•Escalate problems as appropriate following HD procedures.
•Act as a liaison between users and internal support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation. Maintain communications with users during the problem resolution process.
•Assist on special projects as required.
Experience and Skills Required:
•Proficient in MS Office, MS Windows, and hardware troubleshooting
•Positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a challenging environment
•Ability to triage/prioritize multiple issues at once
•Familiar with file sharing/collaboration tools (Box, Accellion)
•Familiar with collaboration tools (GoToMeeting, GoToAssist, Lync)
•Familiar with document editing/markup tools (Adobe, Bluebeam)

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience and basic familiarity with the AEC industry and the basic functions our users perform (project management, cost, scheduling, BIM, etc.)
•Prolog Project Manager Software
•Reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SQL queries)
•JDEdwards ERP
