Have you worked in the Mortgage industry? Do you have RESPA 2010 experience? You are WANTED at Manpower. Manpower is currently looking for an experience Mortgage assistant. The Mortgage assistant will be responsible for various document processing tasks within mortgage operations unit. Candidates with Mortgage and RESPA 2010 experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation depending on experience. Essential Job Duties: * Organize and track active loans as directed by the assigned loan officer * Monitor the status of each file and ensure accurate and efficient processing of files through to closing * Obtain borrower applications and documentation and present to loan officer so the loan officer can select and counsel borrower on appropriate loan program * Review files and documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance * Answer, screen and direct calls for individual loan officers giving top quality customer service * Maintain and update loan officer(s) database * Assist with utilization of various marketing programs and marketing pieces through Top of Mind and similar programs * Update loan officer on pipeline status and update borrower on status of loan * Review documentation (i.e. tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, etc.) to make sure everything meets program guidelines and sign off on received conditions once underwritten * Review file documentation to ensure all necessary items have been requested (i.e. purchase contracts, bankruptcy papers, trust documents, etc.) * Order third party reports including credit reports, escrow instructions, preliminary title reports and appraisals * Work with loan officers to create efficient and accurate processing of loan files in a timely manner * Structure loans in preparation for underwriting * Contact clients in database for loan/business opportunities * Assist with any tasks within various departments as assigned by the department manager which may include scanning documents, updating databases, mailings and distribution * Do research assignments, make phone calls, prepare fliers as requested by the manager * Timely and accurate completion of required paperwork Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED required * 1 to 3 years of related work experience * Customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and proprietary software products used in support of the business Hurry Apply now!!!
