JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently seeking a Customer Service Representative - Purchasing for a contract opportunity in Garner, NC with our partner, one of the leading providers of farm equipment supply.

Daily Responsibilities Include:
  • Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests.
  • Answers both Internal customers’ questions concerning price and availability of items. If necessary,
    suggests alternate items or options to satisfy the customer’s needs.
  • In some instances will suggest add-on items so the order will meet the vendor’s requirements in terms of Min $ Amts or Freight.
    Utilizes the computer system to provide answers for customers, including available inventory, processing support for PreSold, Fast Ex, Ship Direct, or Special Order PO’s, and any other information necessary to provide satisfaction to both internal and external customers
  • Consults catalogs and or Vendor Customer Service personnel to obtain prices, product technical
    information & specifications in order to insure product meets the customers’ needs.
  • Communicates with various parties including customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors via
    phone, emails, or face-to-face communication.
  • Locates information from various resources within the corporate office to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Implements purchasing protocol when providing information and assisting customers.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience
    and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
