3M is seeking a Maintenance Systems Electrical Technician for the Industrial Business Group located in Little Rock, AR. Ready to be part of what's next?

Job Summary :

Layouts, facilitates, plans, and documents the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programming, optimization and design of existing and new manufacturing equipment and all the associated control of that equipment. Provide Production, Division Engineering, PI&C Engineering and Plant Engineering advanced systems expertise with the ability to program, install and optimize new equipment and controls.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Perform the essential functions of the job within acceptable MSHA and safety/ environmental regulations, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, procedures and applicable work instructions

- Maintain analog/digital equipment and network components

- maintain electrical/industrial equipment and components

- program/troubleshoot programmable devices

- install/upgrade equipment

- maintain/troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic equipment

- program/troubleshoot/calibrate instrumentation

- perform miscellaneous tasks

- Work effectively with minimal supervision

This position will require:

- Working overtime

- Weekend work

- Working holidays as needed

- Short notice call in

- Working a fixed 3rd shift

Basic Qualifications:

- Possess a two (2) year technical degree in an electrical field

- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a heavy industry with emphasis on installation, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and controls

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience maintaining analog/digital equipment and network components

- Experience maintaining electrical/industrial equipment and components

- Experience programming/troubleshooting programmable devices

- Experience installing/upgrading equipment

- Experience maintaining/troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic equipment

- Experience programing/troubleshooting/calibrating instrumentation

- Experience performing miscellaneous tasks
