A successful Commercial Operations Analyst will have the following:

 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years related experience in Account Management
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures or government policy
  • Ability to write reports/correspondence/procedure manuals, and present information and respond to questions from managers/customers/general public
  • Flexible, innovative and have the ability to self-manage.  Responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

 

Position is responsible for building a strong working relationship with the leasing office staff, property management company or home owners association. In addition, this role will work with Dish Networks corporate headquarters to post subscriber penetration reports, initiate new property launches, coordinate paperwork and work through account set-ups and subscriber or property needs whenever applicable.

 

This position will involve coordinating marketing activities at the property level which include making sure DISH Network marketing and programming information is available, arranging sales events, coordinating launch parties and distributing flyers to entice residents to subscribe to Dish Network.

 

  • This position will require approximately 25%-50% travel.
  • Maintain timely and detailed knowledge with respect to DISH Networks Commercial Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) products, programs, inventory, technical support, service and pricing.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company, product and industry from continued training, education and self-learning.
  • Develops professional relationships with MDU owners and representatives through demonstrating a complete understanding of the MDU industry.
  • Identify sources of new MDU business and assist Area Sales Manager in developing these relationships and sourcing new Right of Entry Agreements.
  • Prepare effective presentations for existing and potential accounts/properties. Initiate and maintain a Sales Force Management/Contact Management database to automate prospecting and deal flow.
  • Coordinates the launch of new video and data services to MDU systems through the use of project management and tracking tools, and through constant communication with property managers and owners.
  • Maintain high subscriber penetration rates and maximize revenue generated from each MDU system through recommendation, implementation and tracking of new property promotions.
  • Maintain relationships with property managers and owners through knowledge of each MDU system with-in a specific market territory.
  • Recommends and implements subscriber marketing strategies to assure performance to company standards.
  • Develop a fundamental knowledge base with all DNSC Commercial personnel. Coordinate and track each system operational and financial performance on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain travel requirements as outlined in the EchoStar travel policy.
