Providence is calling a Lead Environmental Services Housekeeper to the Environmental Services Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
The Lead Environmental Services Worker provides daily oversight and direction to designated Environmental Service staff employees in addition to cleaning duties.
In this position, you will:
Clean and service the main interior of the hospital.
Strip, wax and buff all floors and clean carpets as required.
Gather and dispose of trash throughout the hospital.
Vacuum carpeted floors and dust daily.
Clean patients rooms, ER, OR and all ancillary areas as needed.
Create and maintain a positive environment which promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Provide training and leadership.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Must have one year of janitorial experience in hospital or commercial setting.
Floor care experience required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
