About this job
Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization; Pacemaker insertion; PV; and hemodynamic monitoring studies (if applicable). Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. ACLS PALS certification within (6) months. REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Completion of accredited technology program in cardiology
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Two years cardiology. Minimum of one year experience in Cath Lab highly preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSE: RN or LPN, Allied Professional: RCIS, RRT, CRT, Radiology technologist
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Completion of CV Tech program or other Allied program in lieu of RCIS is acceptable. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and coronary intervention skills.
