Job Description
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images and other data of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiology Manager. Perform ECG, Holter and other cardiology studies as requested and as needed. Required to work varied hours, shift lengths and take call evenings, nights, weekends and Holidays.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography, ultrasound and appropriate modality certification (ARRT and ARDMS/RVT).
Other Qualifications:
Associate's degree, or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school. Formal training and experience in general, OB/GYN and vascular sonography. At least one year experience as an Ultrasonographer in a hospital setting preferred.
License or Certification:
Current ARDMS/RVT. ARRT certification in x-ray (radiography) preferred. Current BLS required or must obtain BLS within 60 days.
Benefit Eligible: Yes
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 60
Schedule Details: Day Shift. Approximately one call shift each week at MCHS Red Wing.
Weekend Schedule: Call responsibility at MCHS Red Wing: Approximately 1 in every 5 weekends
